Job description

Business Development Manager role in a popular US law firm. London based with hybrid working. Disputes and Antitrust focus. Paying up to £85,000, DOE.

This popular US law firm, with a well-established team in London, is looking for a BD Manager to join their team. The role will take ownership of the Antitrust and Disputes practice in the UK, as well as working closely with the EMEA Senior BD Managers. The role will also line manage and be supported by a BD Coordinator.

Duties will include:
  1. Managing the BD plans for London Disputes and Antitrust;
  2. Developing collateral such as campaign materials, credentials, pitch slides etc;
  3. Researching clients, markets and sectors, making suggestions to the business;
  4. Supporting on cross-selling initiatives across practice groups;
  5. Leading on client feedback initiatives;
  6. Line managing and developing a BD Coordinator based in London.
Candidate requirements:
  1. Minimum of 5 years of legal BD experience
  2. Legal experience or relevant professional services experience
  3. A European language would be helpful, especially French, Italian and German.
  4. Experience of either disputes or antitrust
  5. Confident with senior stakeholders
