Financial Controller | Chesterfield | £60,000 – £70,000 + benefits

Outstanding opportunity for a diligent, enthusiastic and capable finance professional in a modern rapid-growth business.

You’ll be joining an acquisitive SME amid a phase of scale up. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing controls, enhancing reporting and the existing board pack – reporting to a modern and highly capable CFO.

There’s tons to get involved in including; mergers and acquisitions, a new ERP selection and integration, enhancing the MI and commercial reporting, business partnering key stakeholders and providing a vital bridge between finance and non-finance.

It’s a chance to be part of a PE scale up and all of the exciting change management that comes with swift acquisition-led growth. Plenty of variety, autonomy coupled with support from a highly approachable and engaging CFO, a talented and driven leadership team to be part of – loads to love!

You need to be:

• A hands-on Financial Controller (ideally qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
• Confident in your ability to play an integral role in an ERP implementation (previous experience of ERP install would be really advantageous).
• Able to demonstrate ability to revitalise and improve reporting, controls and MI packs.
• Confident in your ability to automate and modernise processes and controls to ensure month end and year end are slick and efficient.
• Someone who loves working with others – this is a people-led business and you need to be an accountant who can build relationships with colleagues across the group at all levels.
