Management Accountant Role

NC Associates are working with a forward-thinking and market-leading group organisation based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire to assist in recruiting a Management Accountant. My client is looking for a confident and experienced Management Accountant who can help support the senior management team in preparing timely management accounts for various entities within the group business. As a Management Accountant, you will have lots of autonomy and support to help build on your existing experience.

Management Accountant Responsibilities

• Full preparation of Management Accounts including commentary for several subsidiaries within the group
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Month-end accruals and journals
• Reporting financial information to the wider business
• VAT returns
• Supporting year-end audit
• Support the senior management team with ad hoc tasks when required

Management Accountant Experience Required

• Previous experience in a similar role preparing management accounts is essential
• Experience of working within practice would be desirable
• Group experience or experience of working on multiple entities is essential
• ACCA, ACA, CIMA Part Qualified
• An ability to quickly pick up new systems
• Excellent attention to detail and curiosity to understand more
• Able to build strong stakeholder relationships
