CNC Operator/ Joiner

At Stepnell, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality craftsmanship in every project we undertake. We are looking to grow our team and recruit a skilled Bench Joiner/ CNC Operator to join our Joinery Shop.

As a Bench Joiner/ CNC Operator, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality wood products, including but not limited to windows, doors, staircases, furniture, seating and much more. You will work from detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every piece you produce.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manufacture and assemble wooden components in line with project requirements
2. Use various hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and finish wood
3. Ensure all work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship
4. Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines
5. Maintain a clean and organised workspace
6. Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Bench Joiner
2. Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
4. Attention to detail and a high level of precision
5. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills
