A FTSE250 manufacturing company in Essex who are a global leader in their industry are recruiting Maintenance Engineering Technicians for their production plant.
Working a rotating double day shift (Mon-Fri) the role would be on an 18-month fixed term contract with potential opportunities to extend or go permanent.
The focus of the role is to maintain and optimise a range of complex automated production machinery and equipment.
Successful applicants will need to have either an electrical or mechanical skillset and be educated to NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline. Experience maintaining complex equipment in a production or automated environment is also required. Experience of fault finding and repair on control systems is beneficial as is experience using a CMMS system.
Opportunities are available on a rotating double days shift pattern (Monday to Friday 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm). Benefits of the role include paid overtime, 34 days total annual holiday, a defined pension scheme, and life insurance.
The position may be suitable for applicants who are currently an Electrical Technician, Multi-Skilled Engineer, E&I Technician, Maintenance Engineer or similar working in manufacturing, power generation, distribution or relevant automated environment.
