An established industry player is looking for a Senior Youth Forensic Psychologist to join their team. This role involves providing trauma-informed psychological interventions to young people in youth detention, conducting clinical assessments, and developing comprehensive management plans. Our Aim:
We are seeking a Senior Youth Forensic Psychologist with extensive knowledge, understanding and experience in forensic mental health issues and risks, specifically in relation to young people and their families/carers, presenting with complex mental health concerns and/or complex behaviours of concern. You will have a proven ability to conduct high level clinical assessments, including the development of comprehensive management plans and court reports.
This new position has been developed as a recommendation from the recent Commission of Inquiry Report (Tasmania) to support young people in youth detention who require trauma-informed psychological intervention. The senior psychologist will have a passion for providing a person-centred approach and working within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 4 February 2028. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary:
$123,717 to $138,296 per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
