Are you experienced within a sales-based role in the oil and gas sector and want to join a new company where you will have full autonomy over creating and implementing their sales strategy as they take their innovative product to market?

This company is a startup within the oil and gas sector. Over the past few years, they have developed an innovative simulation tool for CO2 storage, geothermal energy, radioactive waste disposal, subsurface energy storage, and the permanent abandonment of oil and gas wells. The software and the company's service will allow for greater efficiency and environmental safety for companies.
In this role, the successful candidate will take full ownership of the company's sales and commercial strategy. This will include developing an initial strategy to take the product to market, identifying potential customers, building relationships with new customers within the industry, managing sales forecasts, and identifying private and public funding opportunities. They will have full autonomy and will work very closely with the CEO.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within a sales-based role in the oil and gas sector. From that, they will have a technical understanding of the industry and knowledge of simulation tools. They must also be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and have experience taking a new product to market. Remote working is available but they must be willing to travel to London or Aberdeen occasionally for company meetings.
