Project manage and deliver all Liberty Wines events including our key annual portfolio tastings in London and Ireland, Roadshow portfolio tastings and LW category tastings. These events range in scale, from large portfolio tastings with over 800 wines and 1,000 customers, through to smaller intimate winemaker masterclasses, lunches and dinners for customers and press.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver all Liberty Wines' portfolio tastings, comprising of two annual portfolio tastings in London and February and September roadshow portfolio tastings across the country and Ireland.
- Lead the Events team to deliver Liberty Wines' category tastings throughout the year (Burgundy / Australia / Piemonte / Tuscany).
- Work closely with Brand Management team to project manage and deliver producer tastings - masterclasses, lunches and dinners - throughout the year.
- Co-ordinate Liberty Wines' presence at externally organised trade and consumer events.
- Lead post-event reviews with stakeholders across Sales, Brand Management and other commercial teams.
- Manage the annual Events budget.
- Source and negotiate contracts with venues, vendors and suppliers.
- Pro-actively manage the performance and development of the Events Co-ordinators.
About you
- A minimum of three years' events management experience.
- Proven experience in budget management.
- Highly organised and efficient, with excellent project management skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external contacts.
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- A good knowledge of London restaurants.
- A good level of wine knowledge (WSET level 3 or equivalent) would be an advantage.
