Job Description:

We are looking for someone to attend court cases on our behalf. We defend cases where we refuse a loss or damage claim that is outside our terms, and we also initiate claims against debtors who have failed to pay a shipping charge.

This role would fit a law student keen to gain legal experience or a lawyer with the capacity to take on ad-hoc work.

Responsibilities:

1. Present and defend cases in court.
2. Understand consumer rights vs. business rights.
3. Attend approximately one case per month.
4. Drive to court locations (1-2 hours each way).

Requirements:

1. Must be based in England.
2. Ability to represent us in court.

We will handle all paperwork and court documentation, and brief you before each case. Please note that the viability of attending cases with an average claim size of approximately £1,500 is a key consideration for us.
