Welcome to West Ham! This well-run practice in the East End of London is looking for an additional full-time vet, to join their growing team.

The salary band for this position inclusive of weekend rotation is £42,000 to £58,000 FTE depending on prior experience and allowing room for growth within the role.

About the role

In the bustling heart of popular East London is this hugely popular first opinion practice that is looking for an additional vet, to work alongside their incredible senior vet.

The rota involves a 40-hour working week which is inclusive of a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation. You will be rota’d to up to 2 bank holidays per year in the Wanstead Hospital.

We are looking for a future colleague who enjoys working in a busier GP environment and is comfortable with routine surgery and dentals, although you will have ample support from your senior vet who loves to teach.

You will be fully supported by a full-time senior vet, senior RVN, incredibly passionate trainee nurses and a regional manager whose support is invaluable to her region.

West Ham is also fully supported by Wanstead Veterinary Hospital for more complex cases and OOH. It has extensive 24-hr facilities including CT, an excellent ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment, and an array of specialists and provides a good environment to develop your ECC skills on your Sundays.
