Director of Business Development - Strategic, U.K.

Wunderkind International is looking to scale its new business function in order to capitalise on the remarkable growth experienced to date. Having established a formidable foothold in the UK market, we are looking for the industry's brightest and best sales talent to join us on the next chapter of this region's evolution.

Reporting to the VP Sales INTL, as Director of Business Development, you’ll join our team of consultative experts to help everyone including CMOs of e-commerce companies and Directors at Fortune 500s think differently about their businesses.

You’ll have the chance to directly contribute to the furious growth of Wunderkind by developing and executing a sales strategy to drive new customer acquisition in the UK. In addition, you’ll play a critical role in the formulation of this region's sales narrative as we continually innovate and increase our routes to market.

You thrive in a multi-stakeholder, consultative sale and can hold your own in a C-Suite setting. Wunderkind drives growth for 650+ retailers and eCommerce companies with deals in the £200K to £1.5M+ per year range (in recurring revenue). This role will require you to master a complex, high-friction sales process as part of a dynamic team of industry top performers. Humility and coachability are key.

Responsibilities

  • Close complex, Strategic and Enterprise deals with qualified businesses to drive new revenue growth
  • Communicate how Wunderkind’s offering drives revenue, what our competitive advantage is, and why it is worth the investment
  • Navigate the industry to find key decision-makers and build their trust in both you and Wunderkind
  • Become an industry, product and digital marketing expert

Requirements

  • 5-6+ Years of Strategic/Enterprise Sales experience
  • Demonstrated success working in a rigorous, results-driven role that directly impacted the growth of a business
  • Accomplished consultative sales skill-set (complex / high value propositions) married with the ability to create immediate credibility, rapport and lasting relationships at Director/C-Suite
  • An emotionally intelligent problem solver
  • Prior exposure to MEDDPICC preferable
  • Prior experience working with diverse teams preferred
