An established industry player is seeking a dynamic Buyer for Knitwear to lead product development and drive profitability. This role involves collaborating closely with various teams to create a compelling assortment that meets customer needs while ensuring sustainability and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in womenswear, particularly in knitwear, and possess excellent communication skills to inspire and guide junior team members. As a Buyer on Knitwear you are responsible to execute the product development, having a clear understanding of COS aesthetics and our customer. With a clear and efficient component and product development you contribute to meaningful growth and profitability within your department. Together with the Senior Buyer, Assortment Planner and Senior Designer you are responsible to plan and develop the best assortment for our target customer, securing the totality of the range plan. You work in close collaboration with the Buying, Design, Pattern, Material and Supply Chain teams.
