Senior Consultant- HR & Employee Experience User Researcher

YOUR ROLE

As an Employee Experience Designer (Senior Consultant) in our Employee Experience & HR Team, you’ll play a key role in driving forward the business, modelling our values and behaviours, and coaching and developing junior members of the team. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Collaborate with HR stakeholders and employees to understand their pain points, challenges, and objectives related to employee experience and HR processes.
2. Analyse current HR processes and practices, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
3. Translate HR requirements and employee data into experience solutions, initiatives, and strategies, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision and scope of work.
4. Design moments that matter, current and future state experience journeys, experience strategies and process maps using employee data and requirements.
5. Lead workshops and meetings with employees and senior HR stakeholders to gather requirements, demonstrate solution capabilities, and solicit feedback for continuous improvement.
6. Provide guidance and expertise on HR and experience trends, industry best practices, and technological advancements to drive innovation and efficiency.
7. Foster strong relationships with HR teams, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant throughout the implementation lifecycle.
8. Lead project workstreams by taking ownership for delivering work against key project deadlines and guiding more junior members where necessary.
9. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing activities to enhance team capabilities and expertise in Employee/People Experience solutions.
10. Proactively assist and support in the management and leadership of client engagements, while reporting to Managers and above.
11. Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
12. Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
13. Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

YOUR PROFILE

1. Relevant experience working on HR and/or Employee Experience solutions for a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry.
2. Proven track record and expertise in User Research, User-Centred Design, and/or Employee Experience Transformation.
3. Experience in persona building, employee data gathering, journey mapping, process design, and building experience strategies.
4. Knowledge and/or experience working and delivering solutions for clients in the Public and Defence sectors.
5. Please Note: Candidates must either already possess or be eligible to apply for Security Clearance (SC level) to be eligible for the role.
