Workshop Foreman Required - Specialist Contractor - Kempston, Bedford - Up to £45K + Package

Established in 2000 with locations in London and Bedfordshire, my client has grown to be one of the premier surface fabricators and bespoke worktop suppliers in the United Kingdom.

The Role

With the company having a successful track record in recent years, they are expanding and wanting to bring in a Workshop Foreman to be part of their established team. This person will play a pivotal role in organising and overseeing the workshop team. They will need to cover everything from initial fabrication to installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong tiling, façade or worktop background to be able to support a large team passing on valuable knowledge.

Duties:

  1. Management of Staff
  2. Steer the team to continued success with high-quality standards
  3. Organisation and planning across teams
  4. Work closely with the Construction Director
  5. Work to strict deadlines
  6. Work closely with Stores to ensure materials are ready for workshop and site-based projects
  7. Promote all Health & safety standards adhering to these
