Role Overview: We are seeking a data driven individual to join our fast growing, dynamic team! The Data Analyst - Company Intelligence plays a crucial role in building out a new client service for STOIX. STOIX has been helping our clients grow by hiring best in class people, and we now also partner with select clients to support their decision making around potential acquisitions. Additionally, this position is responsible for gathering, organizing, and interpreting complex data to provide strategic insights that inform candidate sourcing and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Company Data Acquisition and Management:

  • Conduct comprehensive research to gather relevant data on target companies, including organizational structures, financial performance, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Maintain and update a robust database of company information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize various data sources and tools to extract and compile information efficiently.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Analyze company data to identify key trends, patterns, and insights that are relevant to assignments.
  • Develop and generate reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Create detailed organizational charts and company maps to visualize relationships and hierarchies.

Strategic Support:

  • Provide strategic insights by identifying potential candidate pools and target companies.
  • Assist in the development of client presentations and proposals by providing data-driven market intelligence.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for data collection and analysis.

Data Integrity:

  • Ensure that all data is kept up to date, and that data is entered in a correct way.
  • Work to make sure that any data that is collected is done so in a way that is compliant with data protection laws.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, databases).
  • Excellent research and information gathering abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • An interest in business and how companies work.
