About the Role:

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join a leading commercial build contractor on an industrial project in Stowmarket. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting out, ensuring quality control, and supporting the site team in delivering a high-standard project.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Setting Out & Surveying: Accurately set out works using total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
2. Technical Support: Interpret drawings, solve on-site issues, and assist the project team.
3. Quality & Compliance: Ensure work meets specifications, building regs, and H&S standards.
4. Coordination: Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth progress.
5. Health & Safety: Maintain safe working practices and monitor site conditions.

1. Experience as a Site Engineer on industrial or commercial projects.
2. Proficient in surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS).
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes and regulations.
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
5. Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction.
