Base pay range

Our client is a growing construction company within the high-end residential space that takes on a variety of different projects, with a main focus in London and the South of England. The company has experienced considerable growth over the last couple of years and is looking for an experienced Commercial Director to join the business. This role requires someone who has come through the Quantity Surveyor path, ensuring they are very technical and have a proven background in this area.

This is a pivotal role in the business, reporting to the MD/Founder and managing a team responsible for all the commercial operations of Project/Quantity Surveying, Project Finance, Procurement, and being heavily involved with negotiating and working with third parties to ensure the best terms and prices are reached for the business.

This is a role where you will be able to add real value and impact to the projects and the business as a whole.

A background in the higher-end residential business is a must, as is having worked for a design and build company.

Personality is key and requires someone with a hands-on 'will do' approach. Although there is an element of flexibility, you will also be required in the offices to be part of the business.
