Business Manager in QHSE - Engineering and Manufacturing Division

Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a leading manufacturer of high-quality products. We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager with a strong background in metrology and quality control to lead our inspection team and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Job Summary:

As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality control and metrology activities, ensuring that products meet stringent specifications. You will lead a team of quality inspectors to develop and maintain inspection processes, and drive continuous improvement in measurement and testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and develop a team of quality inspectors, ensuring high performance and accuracy in all measurements and inspections.
  2. Oversee metrology and calibration processes, ensuring all measurement equipment is properly maintained and calibrated in accordance with industry standards.
  3. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
  4. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming products.
  5. Maintain and analyze quality control metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Serve as the technical expert on metrology, advising on best practices for measurement and inspection.
  7. Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, addressing quality concerns effectively.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metrology, Quality Management, or a related field would be an advantage.
  2. Proven experience in metrology and quality control, with a strong understanding of precision measurement techniques.
  3. Experience managing and developing a team of inspectors.
  4. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
  6. Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
