Hays Property and Surveying are seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to join a leading construction consultancy based in Winchester.
The company is a multidisciplinary construction consultancy with offices based across the UK. They provide a range of services including Building Surveying, Cost Consultancy, Project Management, and Civils and Design, working on behalf of clients within the Public and Private Sectors.
Their Winchester Cost Consultancy department is dedicated to delivering high-quality quantity surveying and construction cost management services across a variety of sectors, including residential development, life sciences, education, local government, affordable housing, and not-for-profit organisations. The team are now seeking to appoint an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to join the business.
Your new role
As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, your role will focus on working within the Cost Management / Contract Administration Team, specifically focusing on a £1bn major life sciences project comprising a large research and development centre, educational facilities, laboratories and meeting space. The project is being delivered across two JCT contracts and is currently in the initial stages of RIBA 4, with a timeline to continue over the next 3 years.
