Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and innovate across global supply chain initiatives with a focus on sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a consultancy background, expertise in sustainable supply chain practices, and experience managing complex, multinational supply chains. This role also involves driving business development efforts and implementing system dynamics to optimize supply chain efficiency and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Supply Chain Management: Oversee and optimize end-to-end global supply chain operations, leveraging sustainability initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce carbon footprint, and promote circular economy practices.
  • Sustainability in Supply Chains: Develop and implement strategies focused on sustainable sourcing, waste reduction, and responsible supply chain management, aligning with ESG goals and industry best practices.
  • Consultancy & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, support client engagement efforts, and lead consultancy projects aimed at transforming supply chain operations for clients.
  • System Dynamics & Process Optimization: Use system dynamics modeling to analyze and enhance supply chain processes, manage inventory, forecast demand, and ensure agile responses to market fluctuations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics providers, and clients, to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and guide a team of supply chain professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree ).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, including consultancy experience with a focus on sustainability.
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing global supply chains within a multinational or consulting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of system dynamics and its application in supply chain and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, including experience in client-facing roles and proposal development.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Skills

  • Certifications in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CIPS) or sustainability (e.g., LEED, GRI) are highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools, including ERP and modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory standards and sustainability reporting frameworks, such as GRI, CDP, and ISO 14001.
