This is a great opportunity to work for a major company that has been awarded 4 projects worth 200 million.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering projects from start to finish
- Cost control and management of contracts
- Develop Project Execution Plan in line with company procedures and client needs
- Define contract completion criteria and create closure plan
- Review all project and contractual documents post contract assignment
- Manage project costs, budget allocation, and spending approval
- Develop and oversee project schedule, monitoring progress and identifying impacts
- Maintain project cash flow projection, flagging any risks or negative cash flows
- Lead internal and external project meetings, ensuring progress alignment
- Coordinate project activities across various stages for schedule adherence
- Generate internal project summary reports and communicate progress regularly
- Produce external project progress reports as per contract requirements
- Attend client meetings to provide project updates and status
- Review and approve invoices before payment
- Identify, log, and manage project risks and opportunities
- Manage changes to contract scope and develop variations or compensation events
- Oversee quality management, addressing non-conformances and issues
- Conduct formal project closure, including cost assessment and lessons learned documentation
- PM qualification APM is a must
- Heavy industry background
- Confident and experienced with the commercial side of project management as well as the engineering
