Multi-Skilled Engineer (PPM)
Location: Various locations across TFL Underground Network (Zones 1-9)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM – 17:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:
We are looking for two Multi-Skilled Engineers to join our team, delivering Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to a large portfolio of commercial buildings, including shops, arches, and common areas, across the TFL Underground Network. You will be responsible for performing various PPM tasks across different locations within Zones 1-9. These tasks will cover a broad range of building maintenance duties, including basic electrical works, plumbing, and fabric checks. Full training will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the knowledge to deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) on commercial buildings in zones 1-9 of the TFL Underground Network.
2. Carry out tasks such as emergency light testing, clamp testing, tap temperatures, L8 (Legionella) checks, and fabric checks.
3. Undertake minor electrical and plumbing works as part of routine maintenance.
4. Complete PPM’s such as Emergency Light Tests, Tap Temp Tests, and other basic building maintenance duties.
5. Ensure all maintenance work complies with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
6. Follow a detailed schedule set by our administrative team.
7. Provide timely and accurate reports of completed works.
8. Work in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all company procedures and health & safety protocols.
9. Use the provided company-issued uniform and PPE at all times.

Requirements:

Essential:

1. Previous experience in a building maintenance role (including electrical, plumbing, and fabric checks).
2. Knowledge of PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) procedures.
3. Basic electrical and plumbing skills.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
5. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
6. Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks safely and accurately.
7. Willingness to travel across the TFL Underground network in Zones 1-9.

Desirable:

1. Previous experience in a multi-skilled role (plumbing, electrical, fabric).
2. Experience with emergency light testing and Legionella checks.
3. Previous experience with PPM scheduling and task-specific training.

Other:

1. Full training will be provided.
2. A valid TFL Travel Card will be issued to cover travel expenses.
3. Full uniform and PPE will be provided.
