Medical Advisor - Gastroenterology

Proclinical is seeking a Medical Advisor specializing in Gastroenterology for a 12-month contract. This role involves supporting brand commercialization activities. The successful candidate will have a blend of scientific expertise and business acumen, with a focus on delivering high-quality medical activities through various channels.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop medical strategies to support brand commercialization.
2. Address customer inquiries by leading data analyses and research efforts.
3. Contribute to the development and approval of promotional materials.
4. Train sales and medical representatives.
5. Ensure compliance with local laws and global policies in data dissemination.
6. Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials.
7. Plan symposia, advisory boards, and medical meetings.
8. Prepare or review scientific information for customer and media inquiries.
9. Participate in the development and review of local labelling.
10. Provide medical expertise to regulatory scientists.
11. Stay updated with trends in clinical practice and scientific developments.

Key Skills and Requirements:

1. Advanced degree in medical/scientific field (Gastroenterology preferred).
2. Experience in Medical Affairs Immunology.
3. Strong understanding of cross-functional team roles.
4. Ability to balance scientific and business priorities.
5. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
6. Experience with omni-channel medical activities.
7. Knowledge of UK ABPI code.
8. Fluent in English.
