Job description

iO Associates are supporting a growing technology consultancy in the Security and Defence sector in their search for an experienced Back-End Developer who thrives in high-assurance environments.

Location: Cheltenham - hybrid working available
Rate: £625 - £700 per day, Inside IR35
Duration: 12 months+

Due to the exciting nature of the role and the projects you will be working on, you must hold an active UK*C DV Clearance to be eligible.

You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the core services and infrastructure that underpin secure applications. You’ll collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, performant, and secure systems.

Tech Stack

• Hands-on experience with Java and/or Python
• Comfortable working in Linux environments
• Exposure to containerisation or orchestration tools like OpenShift or Docker
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Previous experience working in high-assurance or classified environments (preferred)
