eDV Cleared / UKIC DV Linux Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Gloucester, London or Manchester

Salary: up to £90,000

My client is a leading Technology company looking for a permanent DV cleared Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join their National Security team in Gloucestershire, London, or Manchester. You must hold higher-level clearance for this role (eDV /UKIC DV Clearance).

Responsibilities:

• Supporting and enhancing a large Linux Server estate running on a mix of VMWare and physical servers to achieve optimal performance from the matching grid computing clusters.
• Work will include deployments (building the new face matching cluster), troubleshooting (e.g. identifying and resolving problems found during testing), performance tuning maintenance (e.g. patching), building out new capabilities, and automation of tasks.
