Job Title: Java Developer (12-Month Contract)

Location: Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite in Manchester

About the Role

iO Associates are seeking an experienced Java Developer for a 12-month contract role with a leading professional services consultancy specializing in organisational transformation, cultural change, and complex delivery for Government Departments.

Due to the exciting nature of the role and the projects you will be working on, you must hold an active UK*C DV Clearance to be eligible.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure Java applications.
Work with Linux-based environments to ensure software/system stability and performance.
Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based solutions using AWS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for government projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Requirements:

Strong Java development experience.
Proficiency in Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with AWS services.
Previous experience working in a consulting or government-focused environment is a plus.
