Salary: £13.68 – 16.12 per hour (Depending on experience)

Contract type: Full-time/ Part-time

You will work closely with teachers to provide essential support, helping students to reach their full potential in a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities of the Educational Support Assistant:

• Assist in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support for students who need extra help.
• Help maintain a structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students with additional learning needs, ensuring they stay engaged.
• Encourage student confidence, participation, and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to enhance student progress.

Requirements that we’re looking for:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting or as an Educational Support Assistant is preferred.
• Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or equivalent are advantageous.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
