We are seeking a qualified and experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team. The role involves assessing and supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), providing high-quality advice to pupils, teachers, and parents, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations under relevant Education Acts.
Key Responsibilities:
Timely assessment of SEN and development of transitional plans.
Attend SEN Tribunal hearings and contribute expert advice.
Collaborate with agencies and visit out-of-area placements.
Deliver high-quality support and advice on educational interventions.
Ensure equal opportunities for all children, including Looked After Children and disadvantaged youth.
Qualifications & Skills:
Honours Degree in Psychology and HCPC registration.
Masters/Doctorate in Educational Psychology.
Proven experience in school work, complex cases, and delivering professional development.
Strong knowledge of Education Acts and SEND Code of Practice.
Personal Qualities:
Ability to manage a complex workload under pressure.
Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check.
Ability to converse confidently in English.
