An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join us as an Education Volunteer.

We are welcoming applications from candidates with a strong interest in Education, who are team-oriented, hardworking, proactive, and have a positive attitude towards all tasks.

This voluntary position requires a commitment of one or two days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are available) during May, June, and July, with the possibility of an extension into August. Working hours are negotiable, but successful candidates should be available to work from 10am - 2.30pm as a minimum.

Day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Assisting with educational workshops on site.
  • Assisting with routine husbandry tasks for our education animal collection, which includes invertebrates, reptiles, and small mammals.
  • Supporting any Public Engagement activities around the site.

You must be aged 18 or over to volunteer with the Education Department.
