Job Role: Education Recruitment Consultant

Location: Chigwell, Essex

Hours: Monday to Friday - 9.00am - 5.30pm (full-time)

Start date: ASAP

SENCare Recruitment is currently seeking an Education Recruitment Consultant to join our exciting Special Educational Needs recruitment company.

About us

SENCare Recruitment is a niche recruitment agency that provides Special Educational Needs (SEN) professionals for SEN schools, mainstream schools, residential care homes, and 1-1 home support through local authorities across the UK. We offer short/long term placements on a temporary and permanent basis for specialist SEN teachers, teaching assistants, support workers, social workers, VI/HI practitioners, and mid-day meal supervisors.

The ideal applicant:

  1. A successful sales/recruitment background
  2. Confident, punctual, hardworking
  3. Strong IT skills i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook
  4. Strong communication skills and telephone manner
  5. Money motivated attitude
  6. Able to follow instructions efficiently
  7. Ambitious
  8. Works well under pressure
  9. Team player
  10. Excellent planning and organisation skills
  11. An understanding of special educational needs (SEN)

Main duties:

  1. Sourcing specialist teachers, teaching assistants, and support workers for schools and care homes
  2. 360 Recruitment - building, maintaining, and increasing your own desk
  3. Building and maintaining positive relationships with both candidates and clients
  4. Compliance i.e. DBS checks, references requests, updating and maintaining the CRM database
  5. Working towards KPI's
  6. Cold calling candidates and potential clients
  7. CV screening and formatting
  8. Shortlisting candidates for open vacancies
  9. Briefing candidates before interviews
  10. Posting job ads
  11. Helping with candidate application queries
  12. Assisting with out of hours calls
