The Education Commissioning team within the Wellbeing and Partnerships Team in the Children's and Families Directorate have a focus on ensuring children and young people are able to access suitable education to meet their needs and provided with the opportunity to achieve their potential.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised person to take on the role of Education Brokerage Officer.
This role will focus on ensuring and facilitating appropriate alternative education provision can be accessed by children and young people who are unable to attend education at school. This is a busy fast moving area of work.
It is an exciting opportunity for you to develop the role and take forward this growing area of work. If you are able to use your initiative, experienced in working with a range of different practitioners and stakeholders and most importantly want to help improve outcomes for children and young people we want you to hear from you.

This is a permanent post and the possibility of a temporary 12 month fixed term post/secondment.
