Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated person to join the Healthcare Assistants (HCA) education and development team in North Wales to provide full-time 37.5 hours per week admin and clerical support to the Healthcare Assistant (HCA) development education team between Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am - 5pm.

The successful applicant will be based in either Traeth Lafan or Bron Afon, Bryn Y Neuadd Hospital, Llanfairfechan; however, the teams are based over North Wales. The post holder will be expected to provide cover arrangements for admin support across the HCA education team across North Wales.

We are seeking individuals with a range of computer skills; experience in diary management and working in an educational remit would be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate must have a flexible approach to working arrangements and be highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload.

Experience in working within an educational team environment would be advantageous, along with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to demonstrate good IT and database skills.

Main duties of the job

To assist in the administration of the Healthcare Assistants (HCA) Education team, taking course bookings via telephone, managing generic e-mail bookings, ensuring all records are kept fully up to date, and providing reports on a regular and ad hoc basis, as well as general administrative duties within the team, registering learners for certification and OLM/ESR data inputting.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
