An established industry player is seeking a passionate Brass Instructor to deliver specialist instrumental music tuition in primary and secondary schools. This role involves preparing students for performances and examinations, assessing their progress, and ensuring their welfare and safety. Salary: Music Instructor Scale, £35,190 - £46,773 per year.

The Brass Instructor will provide specialist instrumental music tuition within the primary and secondary school sectors, including delivery of associated Youth Music Initiative projects.

Main Duties:

Provision of instrumental music tuition on an individual/group basis
Preparing pupils for performances and examinations, and assisting with their administration
Preparation of lessons and teaching resources
Assessing, recording and reporting on the work of pupils
Promoting and safeguarding the health, welfare and safety of pupils
Ensemble related activity
Ensuring effective liaison with Line Managers
Undertaking appropriate and agreed continuing professional development
Musical instrument maintenance
Any other pertinent duty defined by the Service Coordinator
