An established industry player is seeking an EDM Machinist to join their precision engineering team. In this permanent role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components while working with advanced machining technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience operating EDM machines and CNC machinery, although training will be provided for those eager to learn. Role: EDM Machinist
Location: Redditch
Shift: Monday to Wednesday 4:30pm to 2:30am and Thursdays 4:30pm to 1:30am (39hrs)
Pay: £17.88/£36260.64 per annum, rising to £18.55/£37619.40 + overtime = earnings of £40000 and upwards.
Overtime: available at 1.33 Mon-Fri, 1.5 Saturday and double time Sunday.
Environment: Manufacturing - precision engineering
Role: Permanent
Holidays/Benefits: holidays are calculated in hours but work out to be 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year of continuous service. Death in Service Benefit - 2 x annual salary. Employer 3% / Employee 5% - Pension.
We now require an EDM Machinist to join the machining department that consists of CNC milling, CNC Turning, EDM machining, Laser machining etc.
As the EDM Machinist, you will be tasked to produce precision engineered components working to tight tolerances.
The ideal candidate / EDM Machinist may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
