Job description

TRIA Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client in search of an eDiscovery (Junior) Project Manager in Central London for a well-known and global presence eDiscovery team currently utilising Relativity and RelativityOne.


This role is perfect for someone who is in early-mid stages of their career and may have been supporting clients/lawyers/associates/partners directly on the ground in the last 3 years. This is a hands-on technical role for someone with full EDRM experience (except for processing data which isn't a requirement).


In this role you can expect:

  1. Operating within RelativityOne or Relativity, with a preference to the first.
  2. Working across a variety of matters and disputes with a strong connection with various stakeholders within the process.
  3. Managing these matters across the EDRM with guidance on best practice in collections, document processing, use of AI and Analytics for ECA (Early Case Assessment), Strategies for Review as well as client data Productions.
  4. Utilising Data Visualisation software to create an engaging data view with client's data sets so they can easily understand their own data or status of cases.
  5. Being the advisor for scoping matters, recommending the right technology/tools, level of service and contributing to cost estimates of these matters from the beginning.
  6. Be able to independently QC / QA work, passing to Manager where appropriate.
  7. Advising on technical best practice in matters to legal teams and stakeholders.
  8. Providing detailed notes on work chargeable to clients.
  9. Coordination with Manager on any risks within the team such as Data Security, Data QC, or Reputational Damage potential, and supporting to resolve these issues.
  10. Keeping up to date with new developments in the market such as tools/products/workflow styles or conferences attendance, potentially helping to implement new ideas/software.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  1. Experience working within a professional environment in the eDiscovery domain.
  2. Working / Practical understanding of the EDRM. Processing data and Cal / Analytics exposure is desirable.
  3. Demonstrable knowledge and experience of eDiscovery Project Management and technical elements associated. Experience managing multiple matters at once is preferred.
  4. RelativityOne / Relativity experience; SQL & PowerBI is highly desired.
  5. Customer Service oriented delivery style, able to have challenging but productive conversations.
  6. Willingness to contribute to new ideas and innovate if feeling comfortable to do so.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior eDiscovery Project Manager to develop into the next level with a clear path to progression to Project Manager and be able to manage cases autonomously with trust and little micromanagement. This role pays up to a max of £70k, bonus, a large amount of corporate benefits and operates a hybrid policy of 2 days per week in the office.
