Senior Machine Learning Engineer | SC Cleared | Defence | Hybrid Working | 12 Months Rolling

CBSButler are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join an exciting defence project working on a cutting-edge surveillance project within the defence space. This will be hybrid working with occasional meetings in the Gloucestershire area.

Please see below for what we're looking for:

1. Proven experience as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, ideally with computer vision experience; however, we can consider candidates from an LLM background too.
2. Familiarity with advanced techniques in AI, such as reinforcement learning or neural architecture search (NAS).
3. Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, or similar machine learning frameworks.
4. Security clearance (SC or DV) is highly desirable, or willingness to go through DV clearance would be highly desirable.

Desirable (Not Essential)

1. Experience working with large-scale video data, sensor data, or other surveillance-related datasets would be ideal but not essential; also, any exposure to defence-related projects previously would also be desirable.
