Assistant Management Accountant

We are actively seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for a well established and growing company in Media City, Salford.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.

The main duties include:

• Preparing actual results vs. budgets/forecasts, variance analysis and narrative on the monthly results for various cost centres
• Preparing month end accrual and prepayment calculations and other nominal ledger journals
• Monthly review with operational managers to ensure that costs are being properly recorded and managed and variances investigated and explained
• Preparing additional supporting analysis and KPI's to feed into the monthly management reporting packs
• Balance sheet reconciliations, monitoring and reporting

Our client is looking for a candidate who:

• Has management accounts experience
• Is currently studying CIMA or ACCA
• Has good Excel skills
• Has the desire to progress within finance
