Position: Technical Sales Professional

Industry: Mechanical Engineering Components, Flow Control Products / Fluid Handling

Products: Valves, Pumps, Mixers, Actuators, Corrosion Resistant Products

Package: Basic salary between £40,000 - £52,000, Executive High Spec Company Car or Generous Car Allowance, Bonus OTE £60K+, plus excellent executive benefits

Location: Home Based, Anywhere South of Birmingham (Birmingham, Leicester, Northampton, Bristol, Cambridge, Basingstoke, Southampton, Reading, Swindon, London etc.)

Our client is a leading manufacturer of innovative flow control products for demanding process industries and industrial customers such as water treatment, chemical process, agriculture, aerospace, military, water processing, marine, nuclear, logistics, and data centers. They are a global company known for the quality of their products, excellent service delivery, and outstanding technical support.

Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic, inspirational, and experienced technical sales professional to sell world-leading products into industrial markets across the South of England. You will have a proven track record in technical sales in industrial markets, a strong technical background in engineering or a scientific discipline, and/or hands-on engineering experience.

You will lead the technical expertise within the industry, driving sales, managing existing key accounts, and focusing on business development and new client acquisition. An understanding of fluid handling and flow control principles, as well as corrosion-resistant materials, is ideal. Experience selling to the chemicals industry, petrochemicals, water, and water purification markets is preferred.

This company provides outstanding technical support for their customers, with unique products and a full product suite for complex applications. They offer R&D simulation, rapid prototyping, and test facilities to manufacture bespoke products. You will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth plan, contributing to the demand for their long-lasting and cost-effective products.
