The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has a fantastic opportunity for aspiring, customer focused, electrical maintenance professionals to be based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. Working within a small multi-disciplinary team, the chosen applicant will help maintain the building services infrastructure at one of the Top 10 Hospital Trusts in the U.K.

Candidates must have completed a recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship, be self-motivated with a desire to develop new skills and flexible to meet the demands of a large acute hospital.

Specialist training and support will be provided where necessary with the chosen candidate required to develop into a specialist engineering supervisor.
Responsible for the direct technical supervision of specialist craftsperson's in the planned maintenance of and emergency response to, complex engineering infrastructure to ensure the effective performance of all building services, plant, equipment, structures and fabric to ensure the trust Estate is maintained in a safe condition.
