As the Head of Finance for Office & Production, you will be instrumental in driving the financial strategy and performance across a £700m business.
Job Description
Collaborating closely with the Finance Director, your role will focus on optimising financial planning, analysis, and implementing improvement projects across Contracts, Business Units, and Segments.
You'll work at the core of our operations, helping to shape and execute a path towards delivering ambitious financial goals, enhancing cash flow, and improving overall performance.
In this senior position, you will liaise with both the Office & Production teams and the ISS UK&I Central Finance Team, ensuring alignment and consistency across all segments.
This role offers the chance to influence key financial decisions and drive meaningful improvements across the business.
You'll lead initiatives that streamline processes, improve financial reporting, and ensure the business is well-positioned to meet its strategic goals.
Your ability to work collaboratively, provide insightful financial analysis, and implement solutions will be critical to strengthening our cash flows and driving sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Take a pivotal role in using data to facilitate forward looking business projections and be part of management decisions on what need to prioritised along with relevant actions
- Own a limited number yet mission critical initiatives that will support performance growth across the business
- Proactively identify and flag ideas for improved business performance driven through data insights and liaising with senior leadership to realise opportunities
- Collect data to create a MI overview of the big picture which can be articulated to senior and executive management in clear and concise business updates and presentations
- Drive increased financial transparency, predictability and continuous improvements across the Segment, Business Unit and Contracts
- Generate consistent financial performance analysis, reviews and presentation across the business
- Seek opportunities to continuously improve our reporting accuracy, transparency and predictability
- Understand opportunities to improve cash performance and planning in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Promote and support having a strong "team mindset" across the Finance community
- Develop valuable insight, benchmarking, analysis and modelling to help drive future financial performance and predictability
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications- Demonstrated track record of driving tangible results and business outcomes working with and for senior leaders
- Experience working within the field of financial business partnering, financial analysis, business improvement or similar with demonstrated tangible results
- Strong accounting skills and strong understanding of profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow, including underlying drivers
- Experience in complex financial reporting preferably coupled with strong knowledge of financial systems and processes
- Experience in independently driving business improvement or transformation projects
- Experience working in a matrix organisation with many senior stakeholders
- Masters degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
