Principal Ecologist

A thriving consultancy that provides specialist ecological services to developers, landowners, planners, utilities, and local government.

Wish to recruit a Principal Ecologist. The post is based at their office near Exeter in Devon. The successful candidate will help to deliver complex and interesting projects, support a team of dedicated and talented ecologists, and build and develop relationships with clients and project teams across a range of sectors.

What we need from you:

A good relevant degree.
Previous professional experience, including at the Senior Ecologist level (or equivalent).
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, design teams, planners, and regulators.
Confidence in the preparation of technical reports, including EcIAs, HRAs, BNG assessments, ES Ecology chapters, and Ecological Management Plans.
Commercial awareness and aptitude for business development.
Full Membership of CIEEM; Chartered Ecologist/Environmentalist would be an advantage.
A Full UK driving licence.
