Property Owners Underwriter

My client, a dynamic and innovative MGA, is seeking a Property Owners Underwriter to join their expanding team. In this role you will underwrite property owners’ insurance risks and assess and manage policies for a diverse range of clients. You will work closely with brokers and clients to develop tailored insurance solutions, ensuring optimal coverage while maintaining profitability and adherence to underwriting guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assessing risks and underwriting property owner policies
2. Ensuring compliance with company guidelines
3. Collaborating with estate agents, property managers, and landlords on various landlord/tenant matters

EXPERIENCE

1. Landlord/Property Owners Experience
2. Extensive experience in underwriting property owners’ insurance policies
3. Proven expertise in delivering high-quality customer service
4. Solid understanding of lettings processes and landlord/tenant dynamics
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities
6. Strong attention to detail and adept at analytical thinking

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Underwriting and evaluating property owner insurance policies with precision
2. Engaging with estate agents, property managers, and landlords to provide tailored insurance solutions
3. Managing customer service inquiries promptly and professionally

SKILLS

1. Excellent analytical and risk assessment abilities
