Role:

We are looking for an energetic and creative Digital Designer to join our fast growing team. You will play a crucial role in shaping our digital presence and developing our creative output in line with the brand mission. Your primary responsibility will be to lead digital design efforts across performance channels, website and email campaigns, while driving continuous improvement in our digital aesthetics. With a strong focus on designing / producing animated and video assets that convert.

We are looking for someone who brings passion and confidence to the business, with a proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Above all, you will act as a guardian of brand identity, delivering engaging and innovative ideas that elevate the brand.

Reporting into the Creative Director and working closely with our Marketing Director, Growth team and Creative Designer.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Creative Director to ensure all digital content is covered from an end to end perspective.
  • Working with our Performance Marketing team to create graphics and videos for our digital paid media channels, including banners, static ads, carousels, short-form videos and GIFs.
  • Optimising paid social ads adhering to platform specifications and incorporating best practices.
  • Delivering high level design across the site to enhance user journey and drive traffic.
  • Working with the ECommerce team to create engaging site design and user experience and visually appealing digital assets for our direct-to-consumer (D2C) ecommerce website, including homepage banners, category graphics, product images, promotional banners.
  • Designing responsive and visually appealing emails for CRM campaigns and automated sequences that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Editing content to deliver the most engaging outputs per channel, adding special effects, graphics, and sound, VFX and fine-tuning final output.
  • You will contribute to the development of creative concepts and collaborate with senior teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Able to incorporate senior feedback and revisions into the design process at speed and often in the moment
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, under tight deadlines whilst continuing to excel and grow
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, self-teach and experiment with new techniques, and software to continuously improve and deliver
  • Share expertise and knowledge through out the wider team

Required Skills:

  • Accomplished digital designer with 5 + years experience.
  • An impressive conceptual outlook and ability to produce original ideas and to creatively problem solve in time sensitive situations
  • High-level creative thinking and the confidence to use it
  • Extensive video edit experience with a portfolio of editing for ads and digital platforms.
  • Experience in developing paid social hooks and commercially engaging content
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as Adobe suite.
  • Strong command of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills including file management and archiving
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while consistently exemplifying our culture and values
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves:

  • Experience in beauty and skincare is a plus
  • A keen interest in AI & examples of how it has or will create optimal digital outcomes
  • Content creation experience
  • Art Direction experience
