Junior Freight Forwarder

Location: Sheffield

Salary: Up to 27,000 (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Forwarding team with bookings and executing import and export entries.
  • You will be supported and trained by the team to arrange transport via air, road, or sea from booking to final delivery (including customs).
  • You will support the team operationally as your knowledge grows within your role.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Freight Forwarder would be advantageous (but not essential as full training will be provided).
  • Willingness to learn and an interest in the logistics industry.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Full right to live and work in the UK.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
