The Hyde Group are established industry experts within Aerospace/Nuclear Engineering and have a new vacancy for a Fabricator/Welder at our welding and fabrication site in Audenshaw.

As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication of a wide variety of steel engineering projects ranging from bespoke structures such as platforms and frameworks to Nuclear projects.

Main Duties

1. MIG Welding Carbon and stainless steel.
2. TIG welding Carbon and Stainless steel.
3. Straightening techniques using oxy propane.
4. Operating tools and welding equipment.

Essential Skills

1. Strong motivation.
2. Ability to work within a team.
3. Positive attitude towards yourself and others.
4. Ability to work in a fluid environment with changing priorities.
5. Experience in both large and medium sized fabrications.
6. Capable of reading engineering drawings.
7. Strong attention to detail.

Desired Skills

1. TIG Welding Aluminium.
2. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
