Product Designer
Near Dawlish, Devon
£35,000 - £45,000 + 35 days AL + Pension + Travel Opportunities

This is a great role for someone competent with Solidworks to join a successful team, working on bespoke projects. The company has clients globally and manufacturing sites overseas. This is a close-knit team that offers realistic progression routes for the right individual.

The Candidate:

Designing products that are highly commercial and designed for volume sales.
Creating final visuals for both in-house and customer presentations.
Design & Development through sketching and CAD modelling and rendering.
Travel to customer sites with the team - generally 1x per quarter.
Hold product presentations online, using MS Teams or similar.
Clear and precise communications via emails, Teams, etc., between factories, colleagues & customers.

The Role:

Degree educated in either Product Design or similar.
High level of creativity and visual communication skills.
Proficiency in 2D and 3D SolidWorks or similar.
Some knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Huge attention to detail and meticulous working practices.
Knowledge of Photoshop would be great.
