Security and Gate Supervisor

Laing O'Rourke, C/O of Select Security are recruiting a project-based security & traffic supervisor for our exciting new construction project within the Airdrie area. As Supervisor, you will be on the ground leading the security and gate teams for the project overseeing the CCTV, scheduling & rostering the deployed ground personnel, patrol management and maintaining the welfare of the team.

Being the focal point for security & gate teams, this role will involve regular meetings with the clients to review and discuss any situations that arise, maintaining a strong working relationship to ensure the service levels are in line with our high expectations. This role will require you to develop teamwork within the deployed team, ensuring high morale through effective motivational methods.

  • Excellent pay rate of £14 per hour based on experience

What we are looking for:
  • Experience of working within the Security or traffic/gates environment. Ideally within a team leader or supervisory role.
  • Valid SIA license in either security guarding, door supervisor or close protection
  • A sound communicator both written and spoken
  • Someone who can lead and take responsibility for a large security team and with others within the project
  • A Strong customer focus and customer service skills.
  • A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity
