Accounts Payable Manager

Equifind is assisting a global property investment group in hiring an Accounts Payable Manager for their London office. The role is based near Oxford Street station and requires on-site attendance 3-4 days per week.

This is a dynamic and multifaceted position, ideal for someone eager to make a meaningful impact across various financial and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Management of team (2 employees) including training, development, retention and recruitment.
  2. Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  3. Monitor and analyse accounts payable processes and recommend improvements.
  4. Develop and maintain accounts payable policies and procedures.
  5. Work with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
  6. Facilitate accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes for accounts payable.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a similar finance management role, ideally within a property-based business.
  2. A minimum of 8 years experience in a similar role.
  3. Experience of working with property management software (Yardi, Qube, MRI, TRAMPS, Coins etc.).
  4. Proven team management with ability to motivate people in a high-pressure environment.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage large transaction volumes and complex reconciliations.
  6. Willingness to work 3-4 days a week in the office and adapt to the needs of the business.
