We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised production business, considered to be the leader in its field. An annual salary of £29,678 is being offered for the role of Senior Production Operative - Packing. The role of Senior Production Operative - Packing is based in Dunstable.

Shifts for Senior Production Operative - Packing:

Weeks 1 and 2 - 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday
Week 3 - 1.45pm to 11.45 pm Monday to Thursday

Pay for Senior Production Operative - Packing:

Annual salary of £29,678

Main Duties of Senior Production Operative - Packing:

To ensure all supervisor food safety and health and safety checks are completed on time and in full. Any issues to be raised with QA immediately.
Ensure the provided radio is fully charged at the start of each shift and remains with you throughout your shift.
When the Supervisor is on holiday/sick, you may need to open and lock the factory, start up and shutdown the plant.
To ensure adherence to all Health and Safety policies.
To maintain excellent GMP standards at all times in the Packing Area, delivering quality standards required of customers and external audits, for example BRC.
To ensure 100% compliance with the product specification to deliver product within agreed quality parameters.
To manage and control the data collection systems and monitoring processes, ensuring that all documentation and communication is processed and delivered to the cross-functional departments, as required on a timely and regular basis.
Assist the Process Supervisor to motivate, manage, train and develop team workers. Help identify training and development needs to ensure the business has an effective, multi-skilled and engaged workforce.
To ensure the Process area runs at optimal output in accordance with production plans, whilst spotting opportunities for continuous improvement.
To ensure set KPI's are met with the resources at your disposal and report reasons when not met.
To help manage and control costs, yields and giveaway within the Packing Department.
