Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer

Our client, a well-established multidisciplinary design practice, is looking for an experienced Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on prestigious projects in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Manage projects to meet client requirements.
2. Lead and supervise Temporary Works designs, including crane assessments, retaining walls, basements, tower crane and hoist bases, façade retention, propping, thrust blocks, piling platforms, scaffolding checks, loading assessments, and excavation shafts.
3. Ensure designs comply with Eurocodes and British Standards.
4. Mentor and support junior engineers.
5. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Requirements

1. 4+ years' experience in Temporary Works engineering (2 years for non-Senior roles).
2. Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
3. Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
4. Proven ability to manage projects efficiently.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
